Ennum Eppozhum Movie Review

Ennun eppozhum is a family movie starring Mohanlal and Manju Warrier in lead roles. Witten by Raveendran and Ranjan, directed by Sathyan Anthikad this movie try to capture the complex relationships in modern society.

Vineeth N. Pillai ( Mohanlal) is a senior journalist with one of the leading women’s magazines. Who don’t care about any challenge as well as don’t worry about impressing his superiors. Deepa ( Manju Warrier) is an upcoming advocate and shoots into stardom as she protested against some social evil.

The new superior of Vineeth, Kalyani ( Reenu Mathews) is not happy with his performance and push him to take up the challenge of interviewing Deepa. It turns out to be a herculean task for Vineeth as Deepa is very busy with her job, daughter and dance.

As the story unfolds we get to understand that Vineeth’s mother was a charismatic person and he didn’t get married because no lady looked respectable and elegant to him. Deepa on the other side is a divorcee from her abusive former husband.

Farah ( Lena) is the friend of Deepa who take Vineeth for wrong when he followed them to get the interview. This make things complicated. Rest of the movie will show you the twists and turns in the relationships of Vineeth with Kalyani and Deepa. And whether he be able to solve issues in his job, as well as in the lives of people around him.

Movie is very slow and show the normal life. There are rarely anything that surprises you. Music and visualization of this movie is just good.

Still you may watch the movie for the occasional jokes and performances by the great actors Mohanlal and Manju Warrier.
