Lal Bahadur Shastri Movie Review

Lal Bahadur Shastri Movie Review

Lal Bahadur Sasthri is a watchable entertainer Written and directed by Rejishh Midhila. Starring Jasurya as Lal, Nadumudi Venu as Bahadur and Aju Varghese as Sasthri.

Just like most of the movies these days this one also starts with a voice over, this time by hero himself.

Lal is searching for a job as well as a girl for him. Yet with no success. Bahadur is an old man with no worries. Sasthri is another young man waiting for paperwork to be completed for his fortune.

Coincidence and one day events play a big role in the movie. Lal and Bahadur happen to take a lottery just to help a boy. And this unites the duo. Both are on a journey from Alappuzha to Kochi.

Heroine Thara(Sandra Simon) who don’t have much role in the movie also happened to be in the same bus.

As all roads leads to Kochi, all run into each other as the story unfolds. Even though there we many uncompleted loops the story is captivating in the second half.

The first half was hardly impressive except some good jokes. The surprises in this movie are good enough but won’t count exceptional. The three lead actors put up a wonderful show especially Aju Varghese who is really promising. As well as the lottery boy.

The camera work by Eldho Issac was good but some frames were not sharp enough. Music and Background score by Bijibal was average in the first half but improved a lot in the second half.

It is a good comedy movie. But not irresistible.
