Pathemari is the movie in which Mammootty and Salim Ahmed are joining hands after ‘Kunjananthante Kada’. The script of the movie is also Salim Ahmed’s. Jewel Mary makes her debut as an actress in the movie. The movie whose tagline goes as ‘The journey of survival’ narrates the varied phases of gulf life for Malayalis. Apart from Mammootty; Sreenivasan, Siddique, Salim Kumar, Joy Mathew, and Yavanika Gopalakrishnan also handle significant roles in the movie.
The movie which is expected to be shot by and large in Dubai has Madhu Ambat handling the camera. The sound recording for the movie is done by the Oscar winning sound designer Resul Pookutty.
