The Dolphins Malayalam Movie Review

The Dolphins Malayalam Movie Review

The movie Dolphins is an average comedy entertainer written by Anoop Menon and directed by Diphan witness re-launch of Suresh Gopi. Arun MC and Sudeep Karat are the producers of the movie.

Movie revolves around Panayamuttam Sura (Suresh Gopi) and his beverage business. Sura who had a rough and tough past battles his way up in the society. Now he is trying his best to get some status in the society.

The story takes place around trivandrum with Sura and his friends spitting out some clichés. Also like any other Anoop Menon movie you get to hear many old hits as part of back ground score. Most of the attempted jokes fail miserably to make viewers laugh.

Towards the interval you hear the best dialogue from Vava (Kalpana) wife of Sura. And all on a sudden some surprises come.

The second half can be called rather a relief than exceptional. At least you get some jokes. Also the perfomance of the ladies Kalpana and Meghana help to hold the story together.

Anoop Menon once again play a Philosophical role. But failed to put up a nice story.

The songs were really good even though a bit short and with illogical visuals. M. Jayachandran’s music was soul stirring.

Camera by Jithu Damodar was good at some points but not always. Costumes fail to impress you. Editing by Zian Sreekanth is good but background score is just average.

At the end you get some twists. But don’t expect an Anoop Menon magic in this movie.
