Malutty Sabu is a thriller which has Suresh Gopi appearing in a new makeover. The movie marks the entry of Tiwwin as an independent director into the industry. Tiwwin who has previously worked with directors like Shafi, Blessy, Renji Panicker began his career as an Associate director for Siddique.
The movie which takes us through two different eras of the life of the protagonist is story of his journey from Malutty Sabu to the crooked liquor contractor Saravanan. Suresh Gopi who appears leaner with a bald head in the flashback has cut down nearly 20 kg to suit his character.
